Auntie M's Bouquet Bar + Story Time at Kara's Beauty Barn

Come out and take in this garden pop-up event at Kara's Beauty Barn while enjoying a light snack and a beverage of choice. During this bouquet bar you will get to select from a variety of seasonal stems to create your own bouquet to take home. Invite a friend to join or come and meet some new friends. Stop in and make a beautiful custom bouquet for your new teacher, a friend or yourself!

This time in honor of back-to-school week, we will have local children's book author, Diane McNaught in-spa available to read her new line of books to your kiddos while you make your bouquet! We will even have a little flower craft available for the kids to make if they are interested.

$55/Bouquet. Kids craft and story time is complimentary. The Penny the Pittie Series by Diane McNaught is based on animals (mostly dogs), where Penny is involved somehow in teaching a valuable lesson. We will have some prizes (stickers, water bottles, etc.) available. Penny will even be around for the kids to meet!

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
