Kayak The Cove Tour

Join us for a guided sea kayaking adventure in Larrabee State Park! We will meet in Wildcat cove, where your guide will get you fitted in our premium tandem fiberglass sea kayaks.

After covering some basic paddling instructions, we will push off into the Salish Sea, one of the most biodiverse inland seas in the world. Snug in our kayaks, we'll glide beneath the walls of sandstone, searching for some of the regions gems such as harbor seals, sea stars, bald eagles, pigeon guillemots, and the occasional harbor porpoise. If time allows, we will stretch our legs on a small island managed by the Nature Conservancy, or explore a beautiful beach along the way. All of our guides are trained naturalist, and are excited to share their knowledge of the area with you. After a light snack, and ample exploration time, we will head back to our launch location, where we will say our goodbyes.

If you are wanting more than a 3 hour trip, we also offer full day, sunset and multi day trips.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
