Bellingham Bike Swap

Join Shifting Gears for their 5th annual community bike & gear sale! The Bellingham Bike Swap allows the community to purchase preowned bikes or gear at a lower cost, enabling our community to experience the joys and benefits of biking.

The Bike Swap is a space for community members to sell, shop, and simply share in the greatness of the Bellingham outdoor community. Those looking to sell gear will drop off items on the morning of June 9th. The ‘Shop the Swap’ will be open to the community looking for bikes and biking gear. Unsold gear and checks will be picked up by the sellers that evening.

25% of each sale will be donated to Shifting Gears to help support our programs that help break barriers preventing women from experiencing the outdoors and creating a more inclusive world.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
