The final 2.7-mile section of Mount Baker Highway (SR 542), known as the road to Artist Point, is now closed for the winter season.

WCC Music Faculty Recital: Robert T. McDonald III, Guitar

Join us in welcoming the Music Discipline's newest faculty member, Robert T. McDonald III, as he presents an engaging program for solo guitar. Heiner The Robert is a solo and collaborative guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, and educator. He holds a BA in Music from Loyola University Chicago, graduating cum laude with departmental honors applied to classical, jazz, composition and performance for guitar. 

While at Loyola University, Robert had the honor to study classical and jazz guitar with Steve Suvada, guitar ensemble with Peter Aglinskas, composition with Bjorn Berkhout and jazz improvisation with Chris White. While in Chicago, he studied old time finger picking and slide guitar at the Old Town School of Folk Music and his debut solo album, "You’re Already There” was released in 2015.
