Wildcrafted Feather, Bone & Antler Jewelry with Northwest Natura

This class is perfect for beginners and experienced crafters looking to deepen their connection with nature through art. Join NW Natura in celebrating the longest night of the year by creating jewelry that reflects the beauty and resilience of the natural world. 

- Learn to ID small bones and feathers - Use tools to modify bone and antler into pieces for earrings, necklaces, or bracelets & discover the types of bones and antlers suitable for jewelry making - Option to craft multiple pieces to take home with you (make at least two gifts) - Option to craft a pouch for each creation (faux leather and cordage provided)     - Students are welcome to bring their own materials and use materials provided. - Learn about sustainable practices of harvesting materials from nature with an emphasis on respect and reverence for wild beings and the environment. - Get hands-on experience with traditional and modern tools used in the crafting process.
