Neighborhood Songwriters Showcase

Once a month, High Mountain String Band's Andy Bunn, invites neighborhood songwriters to perform at Stones Throw for a night of musical delight. The showcase features three to four local songwriters, each sharing their unique stories through music. Whether you're a music enthusiast, a lover of lyrics, or simply looking for a great night out, grab some friends and come support a rotating roster of local artists and non-profits.

The Neighborhood Songwriters are committed to community. As a part of our dedication to the community that sustains us, we donate half of the proceeds from each event to various local non-profits on a rotating basis. Your attendance not only empowers these gifted artists but also supports important causes, infusing every note and chord with a deeper sense of purpose. Through shared commitment, we can create a meaningful impact and foster unity within our community.

Third Friday of every month at 6pm! Information about each musician can be found here: https://www.neighborhoodsongwriters.com/

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
