Harmony Chamber Music Festival - Youth Chamber Music Weekend

The Harmony Chamber Music Festival is a program for middle and high school-aged students from Whatcom, Skagit, San Juan, and Island counties who play winds, brass, strings or piano. Run by the Bellingham Chamber Music Society, the festival's chamber music weekend creates a vibrant learning space where students, guided by professional musicians, expand their musical experiences in a collaborative and intensive setting that develops advanced communication skills and celebrates the joy of music making.

This is an immersive two-day program where students work intensively all weekend in rehearsals with coaches and offer a concert on Sunday afternoon. The concert is open to the public. Come Play!         We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
