Glaze Making 101

REGISTRATION DEADLINE Tuesday, April 28, 12:00pm

Glaze Making 101 is an introductory course designed to demystify ceramic glazes and build a strong foundation in glaze chemistry and application. Students will learn the basic roles of glaze materials, how to read and adjust glaze recipes, and how firing temperature and atmosphere affect surface results. Through hands-on mixing, testing, and firing, students will gain the skills needed to create consistent, reliable glazes and develop a working understanding of how to safely mix, test, and use food-safe glazes for functional and sculptural work.
