Woven Willow Flower

In this short workshop, you’ll create a beautiful willow flower to brighten your home or garden. We’ll begin by twining the center of the flower—a technique that introduces the foundational skills used in stake-and-strand basketry. Then, you’ll shape and add graceful willow petals to complete your sculptural bloom. Your finished piece will measure approximately 18–24 inches in diameter, making it a striking yet sweet natural accent. Perfect for beginners and fiber enthusiasts alike, this workshop offers a relaxing introduction to willow weaving and a lovely handmade piece to take home and enjoy.
