Wings for Life World Run

Wings for Life is a charity dedicated to raising money for spinal cord injury research via an annual global run. Every year at locations all around the world, people run to contribute to this mission.

There is a $28 entry fee to signup and all of which goes directly to the research. The race format is unique in terms of there is a virtual catcher car that starts 30 minutes after each runner starts. Once it "catches" you, your individual race is over.

Whether you walk or run, everyone is welcome to join us 4AM May 10th at Lake Padden to support our mission!

Starts: May 10, 2026

Time: 4 - 7 a.m.

Admission: $28

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
