Ready, Set, Explore! Backpacking 101

Part 1 of a three-part outdoor education series presented by Backcountry Essentials and North Cascades Institute 

Thinking about heading into the backcountry this season? Join us for a fun, approachable introduction to backpacking. We'll talk through gear, packing, trip planning, trail selection, and safety, with plenty of time for questions and conversation. Whether you're preparing for your first overnight trip or looking to refresh your skills, this is a great opportunity to learn, connect, and get inspired for your next adventure.
