Hans Christian Andersen’s classic fairy tale The Snow Queen comes to life on the BAAY stage this December! Experience this family-friendly tale performed by students ages 9-12. The story follows Gerda on her quest through forests, mountains, and hills to rescue her friend Kai from the evil Snow Queen. Featuring original music by Steve Barnes, this show teaches about love and the value of friendship.

About BAAY: Founded in 2006, Bellingham Arts Academy for Youth is a nonprofit arts education organization that offers quality instruction in theater, choir, dance, music, and visual arts to youth, ages 5-17. A beloved fixture in Bellingham's thriving arts community, the organization has produced over 100 musicals to date.
