The Tony Award-nominated musical Xanadu comes to the Bellingham Arts Academy for Youth stage in Bellingham this January. Don’t miss this spectacular story about a struggling artist and his quest to achieve the greatest artistic creation of all time… roller disco. Shows will occur from January 12 thru January 21, at various times.
Along the way, Sonny is aided by an enchanting Greek muse named Kira, and these two develop a friendship that soon becomes a romantic tale of forbidden love. The show features an original score composed by pop-rock legends, Jeff Lynne and John Farrar. Directed by Dana Crediford, with choreography by Lisa Markowitz and musical direction by TJ Anderson, Xanadu is an electrifying tale of endless fun that will inspire you to follow your dreams. BAAY’s talented cast of performers ages 13-17 will keep you on the edge of your seats.
