Established in 2005, Bellingham Repertory Dance is a dancer-run and directed 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that strives to bring vibrant, contemporary dance to the community. BRD is an ever-changing collection of versatile individuals from an array of backgrounds working toward new goals and skills every season. As a dancer-driven organization, all members of BRD are expected to fulfill two distinct roles in the collective.

BRD members are both professional dancers and volunteers sharing the administrative duties of the nonprofit collective. Members are expected to be able to contribute an estimated 5-15 hours per week to administrative duties, class, rehearsals, and meetings.

The per person fee for the audition is a $10-25 sliding scale. If this cost is prohibitive, please email bhamrep@gmail.com. To register for the audition or to learn more about Bellingham Repertory Dance, visit bhamrep.org.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
