Children’s Art at Chuckanut Brewery & Kitchen in Bellingham May 5 - 27

Chuckanut Brewery & Kitchen at 601 W. Holly Street in Bellingham, will feature work from Birchwood Elementary students for this year’s Allied Art of Whatcom’s 17th Annual Children’s Art Walk, from May 5 until May 27. The Annual Children’s Art Walk will be displayed throughout downtown Bellingham in honor of the state wide Art Education Month. Various sites in downtown Bellingham will be promoting the artistic work of Whatcom County students. Along with displays of art inside Bellingham businesses, the event will be hosting various musical performances from the students and participate in other special offerings. Make sure to get into Chuckanut and check out this year’s talented work before it comes down at the end of the month. Chuckanut Brewery & Kitchen was awarded the National Small Brewpub/Brewer of the Year 2009 and National Small Brewery/Brewer of the Year 2011 at the Great American Beer Festival (GABF). The full service “Kitchen” serves from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Monday to Friday and 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday to guests of all ages with an eclectic fresh local menu.
