Chuckanut Bay Distillery Tours Return with The Good Time Girls

Tours of Chuckanut Bay Distillery have returned with a little help from Bellingham’s favorite tour guides, The Good Time Girls!

The Good Time Girls have partnered with Chuckanut Bay Distillery to bring you tours of the facility, located in an 18,000 square foot historic building in the heart of downtown Bellingham. These two Bellingham businesses have teamed up so each can focus on what they each do best.

A “Good Time Guide” will tell you the history of the 1910 building and more. You will see the entire process of turning locally grown agricultural products into premium spirits. From grinding the substrate to mashing and fermenting it, to distillation and bottling, you’ll be guided through it all.

Admission includes two complementary ‘mini’ cocktails and a souvenir shot glass. The tour runs Saturdays at 4 pm, and lasts around an hour and a half. The cost is $25/person. Attendees must be 21 years of age with valid ID to participate. Groups are limited in size and masks required at this time for the well-being of all.

“We’ve been learning about the distilling process, and bringing our own historic research skills into the mix, concocting a tour that has a little something for everyone – including cocktails!” - Kolby LaBree, owner/operator of the Good Time Girls Tours.

The Good Time Girls have been leading entertaining history tours of Bellingham since 2011. Chuckanut Bay Distillery has been creating award-winning spirits from locally grown agricultural products since 2011, including potato vodka, gin, whiskey, bourbon, coffee liqueur and more. Reservations available now online at https://bellinghistory.com/chuckanut-bay-distillery-tours.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
