Fall Demo Derby in Lynden Featuring Action-packed Night Sept. 28

An evening of cars crashing, engines revving and dirt flying will be offered at the Fall Demo Derby on Saturday, Sept. 28 at the Northwest Washington Fair & Event Center in Lynden.

“The Fall Demo Derby attracts fans of all ages because it’s fun and affordable,” said Jim Baron, manager of the Northwest Washington Fair & Event Center. “It’s especially ideal for families because children 10 and younger are admitted free!”

Food trucks and a beer garden open at 5 p.m. The grandstand opens with festival seating at 5:30 p.m. and the Fall Demo Derby, presented by and Northwest Propane, starts at 6:30 p.m.

Fans can purchase tickets in advance for $14 apiece through the fair’s website,, and at the fair’s Lynden office, 1775 Front St. Tickets also will be available at the gate Sept. 28 for $17 apiece. Free parking will be offered in Lot 5 off Kok Road and Lot 3 off Front Street.
