Four Lucky Days of St. Patrick's Day Celebrations at Boundary Bay Brewery & Bistro

If you’re searching for that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow this Saint Patrick’s day, look no further than Boundary Bay Brewery and Bistro. With March 17th being on a Monday this year, Boundary Bay is preparing four full days of St. Patrick’s Day family fun.

Boundary Bay’s Events Coordinator Shanna Sheridan-McInnis says it’s going to be extra special, “It’s our last St. Patrick’s Day at Boundary Bay and we are going full throttle on making it extra memorable. There will be more dancing, more music, delicious Irish fare and beer, special vendors, and our famous Fish Fry menu and Doug's Burgers food truck thrown in the mix!”

St. Patrick’s Day celebrations kick off Friday evening, March 14th with The Penk O'Donnell Irish dancers performing in the bistro and taproom.

They have been a special part of St. Patrick's Day festivities since the early days of Boundary Bay. They will perform each day Friday through Monday.

This year’s free Taproom musical lineup includes many long time favorites including The DeVilles, Lindsay Street, House Wrens, Harper Stone and Flattery.

Reservations for the Bistro and Taproom can be made online at www.bbaybrewery.com

The Beer Garden will officially open Saturday morning to welcome participants and spectators of the city’s annual Runnin’ O’ the Green.

Bottle of Smoke will be making a return to the Beer Garden stage along with the Moving Hats Saturday evening at 6 PM with a $10 cover.

Sunday, Boundary Bay will host the official after party of the St. Patrick's Day Parade. The annual non-profit community parade starts at Noon at Waypoint Park. It travels east up Chestnut Street to Railroad Avenue, ending right in front of Boundary Bay.

Boundary’s popular Fish Fry will be served in the Beer Garden, joined by Doug’s Burgers food truck and special vendors in the alley. Free live music will be playing through the afternoon.

Inside, the Bistro and Taproom will be serving up a special Irish fare menu both Sunday and Monday.

Beer lovers will be doing a jig over the release of three seasonal Irish beers on the taplist; Dry Irish Stout on Nitro, Irish Red marking its 13th year on tap, and new this year, Killick Export Stout.

On Monday, officially St. Patrick’s Day, the fun continues with more music and dancing throughout the day. Boundary Bay is normally closed on Monday, but will be open starting at 11AM for this special day.

The Dublin Letters will close out the weekend with a grand finale on the Beer Garden stage at 7PM Monday with a $10 cover.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
