Longest Day 10K image of Taylor DockSalish Wealth Management (SWM) invites you to kick off summer and celebrate the solstice on Friday, June 21, 2019, with a new, fun, and unique tradition, the Longest Day 10K.
With a 7 p.m. start at Fairhaven Village Green in Bellingham, Washington, runners and walkers experience a little bit of everything – city and trail running mixed with the beauty of the Pacific Northwest including breath-taking views of the Bellingham waterfront as the solstice sun begins to set. The course weaves into downtown Bellingham, through the new Waterfront District, along South Bay Trail, waterside through Boulevard Park, along Taylor Dock, and back to the finish line in the historic Fairhaven District.
The entry fee is $30 per person with $10 of each entry fee going directly to Teach One to Lead One Whatcom County (T1L1WC), a community mentoring program that teaches universal principles to lead at-risk youth to a life of purpose and potential. Each registration includes a blue race tech t-shirt and medal at no extra charge.
This event is capped at 500 participants and designed for runners and walkers of all levels. The Longest Day 10K is ideal for serious runners looking for a chip timed competitive or training race as well as those looking for a fun, unique, and family friendly event.

SWM owner and CFP® Scott Hume envisions the Longest Day 10K as a vehicle to provide the community with a memorable, family-friendly event, but also to support at-risk youth across Whatcom County through the race partnership with T1L1WC.
