The Recreation Northwest EXPO is ready to deliver fun for free to the public in Bellingham, WA. With more than 70 exhibitors expected, the EXPO is your opportunity to connect with leaders in the outdoor recreation community at the Bellingham Cruise Terminal at 355 Harris Ave., on Saturday, February 23 from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The exhibitors will represent Washington State’s recreation community in the general categories of Gear & Equipment, Outdoor Retailers, Guides, Outfitters & Coaches, Health & Wellness, Stewardship & Outdoor Activity, Races & Events, Public Land Managers, and Recreation Media. See the list of 2018 EXPO Exhibitors for a sample.
“As a nonprofit organization, offering the public a free event meets our mission of bringing people together to enjoy, preserve and improve the places where we play,” iterates Todd Elsworth, Executive Director of Recreation Northwest. “Working with our partners, sponsors and exhibitors we are able to provide this as a free experience for the greater community. We have a full day of fun and great people to connect with at the EXPO this year. Everybody will leave with a door prize, expanded outdoor knowledge and some new friends.”
StrEAT Food will be staying open during the EXPO so you can enjoy their delicious fare while you’re there. Boundary Bay Brewery will also be on site as well (please bring cash for your purchase). You’ll also have opportunities to participate in raffles at several exhibitor booths.
Check the event website, RecreationNWExpo.com, in early February for the updated schedule offered throughout the day. In-booth demos will run concurrently with the day’s events, so make sure to visit all the booths.
