The Whatcom Working Waterfront Coalition Annual Fundraiser Dinner

The Whatcom Working Waterfront Coalition is hosting their annual fundraiser dinner next month. Tide to Table '22 is going to be on April 12th and 13th, at Drayton Harbor Oyster Company in Blaine. We welcome anyone wanting to help support the local waterfront, and the businesses that benefit from it, to purchase tickets to attend one of the four seatings of the dinner! There will be local seafood, music and a silent auction.

They are also looking to represent local businesses or individuals in the silent auction that accompanies each seating, as well as dessert items for their dessert-dash auction.  Proceeds benefit the work they do to support the waterfront businesses and an apprenticeship launching this fall to help train a new generation of marine technicians in a program that will allow them to work and earn a living wage while they complete coursework to accompany their learning.

The private gathering's information and tickets can be found at their landing page, Tide to Table '22. Any donations may be tax deductible, contact DanT@whatcomworkingwaterfront.org for more information. We hope to see you there!

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
