WWU’s Back2Bellingham Reunion Weekend Set for May 18-21

Western Washington University will host its annual WWU Alumni reunion (formerly Back2Bellingham) weekend for alumni, families, students, faculty, staff, and the community on May 18-21. Back2Bellingham will feature more than 100 reunions, tours, educational discussions, athletic events, recreational outings, entertainment opportunities, and live music. The $15 registration includes a lunch on Old Main Lawn with live music from Baby Cakes; the Red Square Carnival with a 250-foot zipline; Party in the Library; Classes without Quizzes; Junior Viking Blast Pass; planetarium shows and campus tours. Some theatrical events and reunions require additional tickets, which can be purchased at back2bellingham.com and at the WWU Box Office throughout the weekend. Back2Bellingham offers an opportunity for all WWU colleges, departments, clubs, and organizations to showcase their programs, as well as bring potential and current students, families, and staff together to network with alumni and former faculty.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
